    Evaluation of the Training Programme and Programme Learning Outcomes of the Economics (Foreign Trade) Major in 2021.

    On the morning of 1 April 2021 at Campus 2 of Lac Hong University, the leadership of the Faculty of Business Administration - International Economics directed the organization of the thematic seminar entitled “Evaluation of the Training Programme and Programme Learning Outcomes of the Foreign Trade Economics Major.” The programme was honoured to welcome the following distinguished guests and lecturers:

    1. Representative expert: Mr Nguyen Tien Chuong - Chairman of the Dong Nai Import-Export Association.

    2. Enterprise representative: Mr Van Cong Hai - Assistant to the Director of Loc Tan Joint Stock Company.

    3. Representative of Lac Hong University alumni: Mr Nguyen Hoai Nghia.

    4. PhD Nguyen Van Tan - Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration - International Economics - Chairman of the Council.

    5. PhD Nguyen Thi Lan Thanh - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration - International Economics - Vice Chairwoman of the Council.

    6. MB Nguyen Thanh Hoa Binh - Lecturer - Member.

    7. MB Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy - Lecturer - Member.

    8. MB Vu Minh Nguyet - Lecturer - Member.

    9. Ms Tran Thi Thu Hien - Secretary.

    In addition, the programme warmly welcomed the presence of students from the Faculty of Business Administration - International Economics.

    At the beginning of the seminar, MB Nguyen Thanh Hoa Binh – Head of the Foreign Trade Major – provided general remarks on the changes in the programme’s curriculum.

    Regarding the main content, expert Nguyen Tien Chuong shared experiences on skills, in-depth practical research, and proposed progressive solutions for the programme’s teaching innovation.

    The issues raised for discussion by Mr Van Cong Hai and Mr Nguyen Hoai Nghia at the seminar partly helped the lecturers and students gain further understanding and improve further.

    In addition, in order to provide students of the major with opportunities to express themselves, explore and develop their passions, through the exchanges of PhD Nguyen Van Tan together with the aforementioned representatives, objectives were emphasized to promote the Foreign Trade Economics Academic Club to create more forums, seminar workshops and English communication skills activities,… between experts and students.

    Throughout the process, the seminar took place very successfully, everyone listened attentively, enthusiastically exchanged and discussed to present good viewpoints as well as effectively exploit new knowledge. We sincerely thank the distinguished guests for taking their valuable time to share and listen with our students as well as for the very practical and useful sharing from the alumnus. These are truly necessary for us to draw experience and promote our strengths, seize opportunities to move further forward day by day. In addition, on behalf of the students of the Faculty of Business Administration - International Economics, we would like to express our deep gratitude to every unit of the Organizing Committee who worked hard to build such practical programmes. Hopefully, we will have many more seminars like this.
