ASU Master Class – AI and the Law: Innovation Meets Ethics

As artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming many fields, the legal sector is no exception. The ASU Master Class – AI and the Law: Innovation Meets Ethics is designed for students majoring in Law and Economic Law. The program provides an overview of how AI is applied in legal systems while also exploring the ethical and responsibility issues involved. It offers students an opportunity to gain new knowledge and strengthen their legal thinking in the digital era.

Program contents:

- Overview of Artificial Intelligence (AI): Introduction to the definition of AI based on IBM, along with common classifications such as ANI, AGI, and ASI, helping students better understand the nature and potential of this technology;

- Applications of AI in legal and judicial systems: Analysis of how AI can support prediction, detection, analysis, and decision-making in legal contexts, while emphasizing that AI assists rather than replaces humans;

- Goals and impacts of AI on justice: AI can help reduce errors, increase transparency, strengthen public trust, and improve the efficiency of legal systems.

Through the program, students will gain fundamental knowledge, develop critical thinking, and explore career directions in a legal environment increasingly connected with AI technology.
